You can always buy $10 fandango bucks instead of $25 if you are willing to loose $3 over never expiring $10 from fandango. Not sure how much you paid originally for $13, but if you can't use by end...

I didn't go back to the theater but I waited 7 days and tried to convert it to Fandango bucks again and it worked. So for those who are receiving the 89 error, wait it out and try again.
