the other "trick" is to make a reseravtion at a holiday inn nearby..use the points + cash option..pay like 70$ or so..then cancel the reservation..you won't get your money back but you will get like...

Looks like a lot of hotels are dropping off this list for some reason. The dropped hotels must have reached some kind of rewards night quota that ICHGroup requires of it's hotels.

it runs continuosly. not sure what the exact formula is, but hotel start to fall off the list, normally the best ones go first. recently, the entire list has been updated every two months.

Correct - each hotel on the list is only available for a certain number of reservations. Once it reaches the threshold, it is removed from the list. Your best bet is to book now, and decide later...
