I've used this on my cars in the past and highly recommend it. If your car hasn't had a clay bar run over it before, especially if you park outside, you'll be amazed how much crap this thing pulls...

TIP: If you're doing this at night and the clay bar is stiff. Use a hair dryer to soften up the bar for better contact with the paint.

Yep. You're supposed to let it glide over the paint and apply minimal, if any, pressure.

Exactly. The key is to just glide it across the surface. As stated before, assuming your car's paint has been decently taken care of (washed regularly, waxed when needed etc...) you won't need to use...

Not really necessary to practice just remember to keep the area lubricated, let it glide over the paint, keep kneading it to get a fresh section of the clay, if you drop it throw it away.

Not a bad price. I've never understood why clay bars are so damn expensive. One of the cheaper options i've also seen is the generic clay bars on ebay: around $6 shipped. (no lubricant, though)
+18 Score 34 Replies 9,142 Views
u can make lubricant just by mixing a little of your car wash and water in a spray bottle.
