I'm pretty sure that if you cancel anytime into your membership year, AMEX will refund the pro-rated amount. If you were to cancel in the first month, AMEX would refund 11/12 of the annual fee. Call...

Yeah, I would have definitely signed up for the Platinum during the CU promotion if I knew it was available, though probably would have downgraded year 2. I love my CSP card! It has the best...

So what features of the Gold card do you use? I got a free one from Fidelity years ago, they don't offer it anymore, but it's still free for me. I just have it in my wallet, but don't really use it,...

I just attempted to close my AMEX Gold Rewards card in an attempt to recoup the annual fee. I was ultimately told by the representative that I couldn't be refunded the fee due to the fact that I...

I sent them a secure message earlier today asking them to refund me the annual fee. I received an email saying that they'd responded to my secure message later in the day. When I logged in to check...

If they end up not charging the fee and cutting me a check for $175, this would make the net profit from this deal go from $1250 to $1425 (assuming you were able to get the 125,000 points from AMEX's...
