Good point. If someone just deleted the app and installed the normal one on top, DB might have noticed the same device id (or whatever) with a non-SGS3 app, and marked it as a fake.

I left the modded version installed and have not had my space taken away. I am using a Samsung device also, if that matters, although not an S3.

Why did you involve titanium in the mix? I am on the same setup with a KF I uninstalled the dropbox client and flashed the zip file in TWRP and it worked.
