This is not that great of a deal for a now out of date CPU and only a 500GB drive. I would expect this to be under 300 to be a decent deal. I picked up a Dell with the same CPU but a 1TB drive...

Probably not anything you are running on your 80286 rig in your sig. ;) In general video processing/transcoding will max out just about anything. The Sandy Bridge i3 cpu is definitely a good cpu...
