You can buy anything from any of the Amazon sites. They are individual though so if you have gift cards or Prime Membership on your US account, they won't transfer to the .co.uk site.

I think it depends on the bank. But as someone posted earlier you can let amazon convert to yourlocal currency and charge you that amount. It's a setting in 'my account'.
