Frys has this for $149. I price matched to staples and used the $25 of $75 coupon today and I got it for 124.99 + tax. Too bad the staples coupon expired today.

Thanks for pointing out the frys price. Question: How did you get staples to price match frys? Was it in store?

If the cell phone camera is the future, then it's not going to be an add on. It's what Nokia is doing. 40MP "large" sensor in their latest phone. The sensor on that phone is larger than on low end...

Sure, if all you care about is megapixels and zoom multipliers. (Which is ironically, what most children get excited about. ;) ) Now, if you want to talk other factors, you wouldn't be so hasty...

you can spend $158 on this camera and be happy if you are fairly new to photography. if you don't really care about bokeh, video bitrates, interchangeable lenses and pixel peeping - go for it. if...

10x as much? Not even close. As another post pointed out, for about twice this you can get those creamy smooth raw pics and scary film like vids.

Not really. Check this out. iPhone 4S on the left, Sony P&S on the right. Remember, the iPhone 4S is only the best camera you have if it's the only camera you have.

The problem with professional reviews, they are reviewing the merits based on the MSRP. If this camera was reviewed at $157, Instead of $300+ it would be a different story. This is a very good...

Are mine too high? A $300 GH1 hacked to 100mb/s takes better video than anything this side of a multi thousand dollar dedicated video camera. A $200 GF2 hacked to 146mb/s..... Either one of these...

IMO, I would head on down to Staples and pickup the Canon SX230 for $109. $85 if you have a $25/$75 coupon. It doesn't have 26x zoom but only 14x. But it's just a much better camera. Better IQ,...
