The Prime cords are very good, they might be the best option for most people since you can use them as a regular cord without engaging the lock, or lock them if necessary. The Pushlock is a cool...

I've had both cords in my hands at the store and the item numbers were identical. Even if it's not technically "bait n switch" it's interesting that the cheaper cord is always the first cord...

Could somebody tell me what store they used? I've tried 5 in the Chicago area and all say it can't be added to cart

About twice what you paid, which would make CL the only viable option. Shipping costs and final value fees kill any profit on ebay for heavy bulky things unless you get them at 90-99% off.
Post #50869280 added 06-10-2012 11:05 AM by dadab in Archived Deals
You made my day OP. Will this sell on CL? If not I can always return it.
Post #50869310 added 06-10-2012 11:07 AM by dadab in Archived Deals
I have done few CL transactions. I always call them at the nearest police stations. Boy that whipping would be really tough to endure. I'll hide it from the women.
Post #50869438 added 06-10-2012 11:14 AM by Anime in Archived Deals
I'm sure these could be sold on CL for $40. Which means you list it at $50 OBO and let the hagglers think you were talked down to $40. I'm not sure it's worth the small profit and the expense...

Thats irritating news. Stupid sales woman. I've been doing a lot of $50 orders online with the 5 off 50 code. Most of the items have had 10-15% off online so it's probably not worth the hassle. I'd...

I'm getting tired of sears messing up when I try to order things couldn't get the 25' because they're idiots now can't get this because they screwed up again.

Didn't think about the power draw. The 12 guage will probably carry a higher amp, but both of them say 15amps at 50 feet. So perhaps the craftsman is of higher quality.

These are NOT craftsman brand, and they do NOT have a lifetime warranty.

I personally would have refused the pick-up. This is not a hot deal if the cord is generic.

Can't even get to the sears.com website right now.

If it says you need 10 gauge for 100', then you need 10 gauge. Otherwise you risk overheating/frying the ext cord or the wiring to that outlet.
Post #50866674 added 06-10-2012 8:31 AM by AreWeThereYet in Archived Deals
True, but this wouldn't be FP if it wasn't a Craftsman either. I have so many ext cords with bad plug ends and bad/cut insulation I'm actually looking forward to a Guaranteed Forever "cable".

I did follow the instructions. It doesn't show it in my weekly ad online or otherwise. I switched my zip to NY and it shows but only allows instore pickup so no way to order it.

$15.15 in store?
Post #50870304 added 06-10-2012 12:00 PM by dadab in Archived Deals
Well sure - There is huge risk in $500 to $1000+ transaction. Minimizes but no completely eliminates risk on $40 transactions. I am uncomfortable meeting strangers for such deals anyways that is why...

$19.17 changed to $22.55 on checkout, then back again in the confirmation e-mail. Typical Sears.com mathematics. I think I got the last two in that store. One left in town at the other location.
