5w-30 is currently the kind of universal oil for passenger cars. I remember the old time when in FL I always used 10W30, which is suitable for warm climate zone. But use 5W-30 is perfect.

Synthetic isn't available in the One quarts, its only available for 5.1 for 5/30 weight according to the website. Unless I'm missing something.
