As mentioned earlier, you can always trade it in to Gamestop. I believe their trade-in values are anywhere from $100-$150 depending on model. Also, Sony's repair prices vary from model to model.

Take it to Gamestop and trade it in.... if it powers up and you have original box and controler and power supply, they will give you $100 for it likey as not... especially with a deal where you get...

Our find a local guy on Craigslist that can repair it. I've had someone repair my Bluray about 9 months ago for $75. Still running strong.
