Nope, it's both ways.

What I meant is with this flashlight's driver, delivered to the LED. This isn't exactly a high quality device. Either way it's not 1000 lumens.

The 200 lumen flashlight I bought from them is less the half of the brightness compare to the 200 lumen flashlight I bought from Costco.

Really Really bright. I have one almost identical to this one. Looks like this is a newer version with the newer LED. The only other difference I see is that this one looks like it has the orange...

In the flashlight world, they are not oddball at all. Sadly, people only think of the crappy Maglites when they see a "bright" flashlight, and that is all they know. 18650 are rather common for...

Any idea if 26650 will do the job better; will it fit?
Post #51016358 added 06-16-2012 7:18 AM by henny in Archived Deals
Looks impressive but the oddball batteries kill the deal. 15.5" Long?? That's about the length of a 6 cell Mag Lite.

Probably a pretty descent flashlight, ebay is littered with deals on those battery types and of different mah ratings. I will say some of these flashlights are stupid bright, I have had this...

Super high price? You mean free. These are the same cells used in most laptop batteries. Can we say recycle bin? Most times when a pack dies, it's only once cell that's bad. The rest of the...

Warning, this flashlight takes some kind of funny "18650" battery, not included. Great price on a really bright flashlight though, OP.
Post #51007444 added 06-15-2012 6:13 PM by DaMeat in Archived Deals
FYI... Instead of an 18650, you can use 3 AAA batteries in a little adapter. Stupid tax in CA kills it for me, cheaper on the Bay...

What is really sucks about it is "Ships from China warehouse. Most customers receive in 2-3 weeks." You have to wait for a month to get it.

As opposed to AA NiMH that can be used and recharged for over a year? Not sure how the Li is much better in that aspect. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It started last month and is international only, so if those sellers are shipping within the US, then that's ok.

Just to correct here - the 3AAA batteries (1.2v x 3 = 3.6v) have the same voltage as 1 18650 (3.6v), and NiMH batteries can also match the discharge current of a Li-ion, for example Sanyo Eneloops...

My understanding is that the "ban" is on exports from the US, satan. http://about.usps.com/postal-bulletin/2012/pb22336/html/updt_010.htm#ep1472658

Sadly, no. USPS has banned international shipment of Li-Ion batteries.

Not in a pink fit. The docs say ~ 700 lumens at 2 amps. Chances of getting 2 amps out of the battery is fairly slim. Standard 50% discount of specs = 500 lumens. ...

Any flashlight with 1,000 lumens will be li-ion. Regular batteries just can not supply that amount of current.

I got this flash light a few weeks ago . It is brighter than the Maglite which is rated at 140 . There is no way this is rated at 1000 lumen . My uneducated guess is 200 lumen when compared to the...

I've ordered many lithium batteries (18650, 14500, & 12V packs) from Meritline and eBay recently, with absolutely no issue. If there is a ban, it seems unenforced. I saw this light in the sale...
Those IntlOutdoor rebadges are generally better in quality and performance...but the price is more than twice as high. But damn that 5 mode is annoying!
Post #51015462 added 06-16-2012 6:12 AM by PizzaBagel in Archived Deals
It shouldn't fit - the first two digits in a Li-ion battery name are the diameter, 18650 = 18mm diameter x 65mm length. 26650 = 26mm diameter x 65mm length - its a significantly fatter battery. ...
