As Rocky said, it does not appear to be a flash problem. Just save/backup your FF settings, uninstall FF, reinstall FF, restore your settings (if necessary) and try again.

That means that your problem is NOT the flash player, it's Firefox itself.
You might try uninstalling FF and reinstalling it, preferably to a different version.
