It's actually faster than the $90 for 120 GB drive. That deal was the Agility 3, which is one step down from the Vertex 3. I want to say the difference is the Vertex 3 reads/write compressed data...

The SSD Chips are Intel Memory Chips, and the Sandforce Controller is the same exact one in the Intel 330 and the Intel 520 SSD's.

+1 SSD really help with load time. Example: I play Batttlefield 3. My old HDD take at least 30s - 1 minute to load each map. With my new SSD it take 3 - 5 seconds.

Yeah.. that's what I figured. I'm currently using OCZ Vertex 2 for my desktop not problem yet. I plan on upgrading my MBP 13 2010 with a bigger SSD, at least 180gb because I plan on dual booting.
