I looked up the Newegg upgrade rebate for Kaspersky Internet Security, and it also says it needs the original UPC. However, the upgrade rebates through Fry's still say 'copy of UPC'. Like you said,...

It's out of stock now i guess... so doesn't matter... but most AV products come with 2 proof of purchases... so we'll see how this one plays out I guess, one is usually on the inside flap...

Go through the online form..and when it prints out..it will ask for a copy. I have done these types of upgrades more times than I care to remember...and have never had an issue.

(posting here for the SD folks)... See attached. It is the printout of my pre-registration (redacted) after following the upgrade rebate link. It clearly tells me ORIGINAL UPC, and then goes on...

It is different than any other upgrade one they have ever put out...so my firm belief is its just a cut-and-paste terms error on their part. I would send a copy. Worst case is a 45 cent gamble.

Definitely. They'll take just about anything. The last couple times, I've just printed off the first page of the pdf manual for KAV 2011, which was openly available online.

Click on the actual form and register... the upgrade rebate only asks for a copy...

Yeah I encountered that with Bitdefender and Norton Combo Packs. I have not seen that with kaspersky products though.

Item is $35 - $35 Normal Rebate $25 Upgrade Rebate Pretty straight forward... This is the Q2 upgrade rebate, so if you did this before, you are no longer eligible for the upgrader rebate......
