I believe this lens is sold as Bower, Rokinon, and Samyang. But when it comes down to it, they are all the same.

No. This is designed for APS-C sensor (crop sensor), not the full frame sensor of the Canon 5D. It is however an EF mount, so it will mount to the 5DII, but it won't cover the frame and you will...

I once had rokinon 85mm. It was manual lens. Very sharp I must say. I love these rokinon lenses, they are very cheap compared to any other 3rd party lens manufacturer

bower and rokinson are pretty similar---they are both pretty decent manual lenses---the build quality is good and both are actually pretty sharp too
