I can't speak for the quality of the product, but it is cheaper GB/$ then the 8GB/$5.

Ah... that's the speed of the USB 2.0 interface. That says nothing about how fast the flash is. Sure the autobahn maybe designed for cars to go to 200MPH, but that doesn't mean a Geo Metro will...
