Not a bad price...they are coming down...finally. If this was a 1.5 TB or a 2 TB drive, then I'd consider it (appropriately priced), but for now a 1 TB has to be much lower than $79 for me to bite...

Would it be much better to get a bare 2.5" drive and use USB plug and the SATA interface? Of course the drive would be bare and just use a rubber grommet on it. It is smaller too.

simple within macOS you can use disk utility and select the drive and select 2 partitions one can be HFS extended journaled or which ever, and the second one will be fat32. Im pretty certain you cant...
