This is pretty rookie for a question but my google search didn't help. I bought a microsoft xbox controller for windows and I want to use it as a second controller for my xbox. Is that possible?

I tried that. Its wireless. I tried the sync button and for some reason Xbox doesn't recognize it. The circle lit up and just keep going around if you know what I mean. It never set in first position...
