I have read a lot of bad things about Banfield vet service, too. Most customers say that they try to sell them all kinds of things they don't need.

To those people who are going to splurge on this: Most of this stuff (except for the free stuff) isn't worth your money. The orientation is pretty much useless, the "save $xx" is completely worthless...

9/10ths of Vets do that. Sell you crap you don't need, is useless/ineffective or hawk you a product for something that would have resolved on it's own. Banfield sets itself apart by doing all of that...

This is true. They got us for over $500 in tests. I finally had enough and took my cat to a local vet where he was treated for a simple uti.
