I have also made many purchases from STP w/ no problems. I would have purchased a Hickey Freeman suit on this sale, however some research found that it was half canvassed (found a fully canvased suit...

If you are looking for a Gregory pack watch www.steepandcheap.com. If you are unfamiliar with it it's a site belonging to Backcountry.com and they have 30 minute auctions on items or until they sell...

Their warehouses has bed bug infestation just as a heads up. Anything you order from them should go into a load of hot water followed up by a hot dryer.

Me either and I buy stuff from them quite regularly. @Toad_Killa: There is a free shipping code (ALSHIPCOM2), but you can't stack codes on STP.

I don't think sign up for their credit card to reduce shipping is a good idea. There are a couple of threads on SD about credit cards which earn you much more like the Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire...

I spend a fortune at STP every year, and I have never had a problem with them. This is probably the store I shop at most for clothing and shoes for my whole family. They seem to have 30-35%...

No one cares how many cards you sign up for as it's your credit score, not ours, but since you brought it up, if anyone is going to mention anything about this, it's that you looked at the wiki as a...

I've bought and returned thousands of dollars worth of stuff and have yet to be stiffed. That's what counts - can you trust they'll not rip you off on the return? Scary when it's $500 worth of gear...

You are incorrect. They do have 35% deals pretty often, but only if you spend $100+. Usually there isn't a no minimum for such a large percentage off and I haven't seen 40% off before. I get the STP...

$13 shipping kills the deal for what I was looking at. signing up for a credit card to save $10 is not a slickdeal. on top of that, it takes a long time to sort through the junk.
