have had this NAS for over a year, working solid. only complain is there is no other ports on the back of the drive besides the power and a ethernet port. so you cant really transfer things to it...

Yeah I like WD better than Seagate and don't mind paying a bit more for it, but this is pretty expensive to be called a hot deal.
