What's up with all the false information around here. First, the 64GB reads as fast as the other models. The problem is that because there's less nand chips on the 64GB (because it's smaller), the...

Can someone tell why anyone would buy this versus the other deal 240GB for @160 for Sandisk?

I went with the 128GB. It will be plenty fast. Any suggestions on the 3.5" adapter?

Damn, I was really looking at a SSD, specifically a 64 GB (for windows and apps) and putting my 750 GB stock in the optical bay, but I've heard that 64 GB drives are slower than bigger ones. Anyone...

I agree, Better in that there's less failure, perform better, better quality components, etc. Comparing user reviews is not indicative of performance, but rather user satisfaction. Lexus and...

I have the 64GB version and it is still fast. Windows 7 still boots up in 10 seconds, shuts down in 3 seconds, and everything works fast as you would expect from a SSD. With that said, might as well...

Will the sandisk not fit in a macbook air?

Bought the Samsung 256 GB about 2 months ago for a higher price, great SSD and worth the money.

Because this Samsung is 7mm thick, which means it'll fit in Ultrabooks and some other space-limited devices. Otherwise, I'd be happy with any other SSD.

64 GB drive is about half the speed of 128/256GB. It will work on any SATA laptop.. as long as you have the proper proprietary SATA cable for the laptop.

Star ratings are based on user satisfaction, not performance, failure, quality of components. Kia and Lexus customers might both be 5-stars satisfied, but you'd be hard pressed to tell a Lexus...

Price for the 64gb shows as $81 and the 128gb as $127. Still cheaper than Newegg.

That is correct. And the 120/128 are also usually a step slower than the 240/256gb variants.

Can't believe the 128gb version would be that much slower than the 256. This is the best SSD money can buy
