You're wrong about doctors not selling anything. Doctor's are (to put it bluntly) selling a prescription & treatment plan. Drug reps/pharma companies don't spend millions on drug dinners for nothing....

Briefly - 4 year professional doctorate degree. I'd estimate 5 people apply for every 1 person admitted, so it's pretty competitive. Costs vary per school. College in general...
