Gray market is not illegal. It is not supported by the manufacturer. They will not honor the warranty. You can import things from other countries and sell here, legally.

good price for a Seiko as mentioned, at some point, the kinetic mechanism will die. There is no fixed amount of times you can swap out a battery.
