Both Macy's and Amazon do not use Teflon (same 3 layers used). So, I dont really see any difference other than the bigger size pot by 2 inches. I rather get an free griddle for cheaper price at Macys.

I think you're referencing Teflon. These go through a different process with different materials. For now, they are regarded as a safe alternative to Teflon coated pans. For now.
