Usually, all airline companies allow you to cancel your reservation for free within 24 hours of booking (in case you bought it by mistake). Look it up if your airline does that. Good luck. :)

I was looking at a trip from NYC to LA. Thought Virgin was cheap. On delta and JetBlue the fare is Around $300. Virgin was like 550 or something outrageous even before the 20%.
