You are agreeing to another 2 years but not to a new plan. I had a old $49.99 family plan and it didn't change when I upgraded.

two different reps couldnt come through for me. wound up upgrading only one phone for $180 plus waived upgrade fee. they wouldnt let me do the buy one get one and keep my preferred android web plans

One phone on upgrade, no rebates necessary. Same result after two...
