Oh yes, I should have made that clear. I'm hoping that they will update it with a review of the new Spyder 4, but no luck so far. I haven't found any other quality comparisons either.

seems like a decent price, i'm personally waiting for a deal on the i1display pro. I read somewhere it works the best with led monitors. I'm currently running the i1display 2 and that one is too...

Deal is dead. Just tried to buy it and the price went up to $150. Pity because it was $130 an hour ago when I was thinking about so it's a no go for me now.

I bought the Spyder4Elite for my work. The Art department loved it. For me, I actually preferred the uncalibrated view. The calibration made it quite a bit colder and I like my monitor to be on...

Is the dispcalgui difficult to use? I see that is is based on the Argyll CMS engine.

nope. pretty easy. it just looks confusing at first. so a steep initial learning curve.
btw, it takes a long time to do a good curve.
took me 4 hours for two monitors.
