Because the better drive Samsung 830 is going for mere $20 to $30 more with out rebate ...
As of today, SSD deal with a rebate is a joke, except the Plextor 256GB deal which had 5 year warranty...

Looks like a great deal on a well-reviewed drive. I wonder why nobody's voted on this?
I hate dealing with rebates, but the rebate from my last Corsair purchase came quickly without hassle.
