Not sure how to check from the computer, but if you look up your computer manufacturer's specs or motherboard specs, that'll tell you. Regardless, even on SATA1, the difference is night and day...

Ah, yeah that's confusing. Looks like they didn't put that "ultra slim" note on the desktop version, but yeah the drives are exactly the same. Look at the dimensions, both drives are 7mm thick.

Apple does not support TRIM on all the SSDs; they only support TRIM on the SSDs where you get it from Apple itself, there is a software to enable TRIM on these unsupported drive... on another...
