Smart Money did this earlier this year. They offered a free one-year subscription, then quickly ended the print edition. I never even got one copy of the magazine.

Why? At least you don't have to worry about recycling. There are times when I rather have printed copy (like National Geographic) but for most part, digital subscription is fine.
