The router/switch you plug them into would have to support link aggregation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link_aggregation It's not too hard to setup but pretty much only managed switches costing...

That's a fantastic price. Never seen that CPU in that server this cheap. You can always add RAM later...just my opinion. VMware VMs tend to use RAM more efficiently than physicals imho.
