Picked up mine and cloned Win 7 from an older 50GB Vertex 2, WEI disk score is 7.0, not bad for an ancient SSD.

I'd say they are customer returns because of the stuttering issues, they probably just powered them on and checked to make sure they are physically okay, and maybe updated the FW to Corsair's latest...

Unfortunately the "generic" FW update doesn't really seem to do anything at all. After a few days of use the multitasking issues return in full swing. You are really better off taking a look at...

http://www.frys.com/product/6618874 Beware of Fry's misleading info on this drive. It's not the Nova, it's the Nova 2 - very different drive... not 64GB, but 60GB and the firmware is clunky for...

Interesting. I was certain it wouldn't work, I just didn't realize that they actually repackage and create an entirely new item out of refurbs. I guess that's how they avoid getting rebates on them....

Good call, you are right it's the Nova 2 60GB, well for $35 it's just a cheap SSD boot drive, which I plan to use on a HTPC, not a huge investment and if it goes bad no important files will be on it.

I thought you couldn't/shouldn't clone ssd drives? I don't know much about SDD's and would appreciate any information you provide.
