We just ordered that camera. We haven't tried it yet, but the reviews/price combination led us to the conclusion this was the best option for that exact use.

I have the olympus tough series. so far so good. only downside is that it uses a XD card, but you can also purchase a microSD to XD converter.

It's ignorant to say it doesn't have a good camera. For a cruise, it should be more than enough for those family shots. Who in their right mind would bring a $2000-$3000 DSLR on a cruise?

Followup here...don't get the WP-ONE. It fits the camera well but the lens is too big to fit in the case's lens opening, if that makes sense. I am returning it and will have to get a different one......

If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, the camera on that is sufficent for GREAT photos. Just buy a LifeProof case for $70-$80 and it will be waterproof!

Just get the kodak xz5. For $50 it takes really good underwater videos and pics. Just used it a lot in Maui. Was impressed with what it captured and for the price you wont beat it.

Not sure if you jumped on that Panasonic from Amazon DOTD but that model, TS20 is the lower end model. The TS4 is the higher end model.
