Even if you have a California mattress and sleep alone, why wouldn't you just get the twin and save some money. If you find a girlfriend, she could bring her own sleeping bag!:woot:

The waterproof ones are just a little more than these and in my opinion worth the extra cost. We have this one and it is a great waterproof pad. No noise or heat - just like a regular mattress pad....

Six or so comments stated that "The Big One" pad is pretty thin and doesn't do much. But, since I've purchased one I'm thinking it's pretty thin and doesn't do much.

To those saying this isn't thick enough... microfiber is denser than foam so it's not going to appear to be as thick. To be fair, you would need to compare the thickness of this pad to the thickness...

If my mattress is old and squishy now, if I get one of these and put it on top, would it help alleviate back pain?

Just got an email that my order was cancelled! First the Lord & Taylor order was cancelled and now Kohls. It's like I'm on a "Don't Sell To" list :(
