I don't think there is anything in a backup about that. The media is all controlled from iTunes. Set up your playlist preference in iTunes before restoring.

Does anyone know which files in an iPhone Backup control what music playlists get synced to the phone when the phone is restored? I want to replace that part of a current backup with an older version.
