No you can not book with points for this promo. Yes you could cancel a trip you booked with points and they will refund all the points to your account....then you could pay the cheap cash price for...

That's why the flights are cheap, because they are on slow flight days. Case in point, 9/11 is one of the cheap days on their list. A lot of people won't fly that day.
