That's generally not possible - you can't normally take a random laptop and find a compatible 1080p screen on ebay. I wish! It needs to be designed for the laptop.

This. My only problem with Lenovo. The 300 dollar one is the same build as the 1,000 dollar plus one -_-

Not true, Bushrod. They're actually pretty standard connections. You simply need to look for the right plug/connection. I only know this because I broke my screen by accident on my last laptop, and...

It's a pretty incredible deal with an 660m. Other than low res screen, it's actually really good in terms of price.

You say that based on what? Read any thread on here or any gadget website where a non-budget laptop with 1366x768 screen is announced. Half the posts just bash the screen and ignore everything else.

I called them, it is most definitely a y580 they assured me. Are these commenters seriously so retarded that they can't read the numerous reviews listing the 660m gtx and saying y580?

No, about 25 percent of product description relates to z580, exaggerate much? Says 750 gig hdd, not 500, says 6 gig not 4 gig ram, reviews are from y580, etc

The Y580 would be a really slick deal if it had the 1080p screen, but I really doubt it... probably comes with the 1366x768 one.

Spec says nothing about GTX660m, does it really come with it...? According to the reviews it does, but I kinda don't wanna risk it, just in case there's a different model.

Yes, comes with 660m gtx, w/2gb gddr5. It's really not that hard to change out a laptop screen yourself, I've done it. A high end 1920 x 1080 laptop screen runs 120 bucks, so it would still come in...

Buy 1080p screen on ebay new for 120 bucks, switch out, sell old screen for 60 dollars. = 60 dollar cost, far cheaper than anything similar

This says it's the Y580 but when you put in the model number it comes up elsewhere as the Z580. Which one will this be? This is a sub par price for the latter.
