Good info about JVC. I didn't know about that. Guess that's why JVC never shines in the LCD HDTV field. Too bad because I was such a big fan of its tube TVs.

Like someone said earlier, Amtran is the manuafacturer for JVC as well as Vizio. So in terms of quality, you will get pretty much the same thing, assuming the prices are similar.
