I have the 1gb sapphire model of this card, never had any problems running things on high settings. Planning to grab a 7950 whenever a decent deal comes along on one for the dx11 and power savings...

Old as dirt, no HDMI, power hungry, and no DX 11 support... ..but one of the most powerful cards ever made for cheap, with no rebates. I've never felt so conflicted before. :lmao: +1 for subby....

no hdmi kills it for me. I have the saphire 4850 w/hdmi in an old school Cooler Master Centurion case. This 4870 would be a real tight fit.

Agreed, my cousin has similar cards crossfired, the 4850s and his sweating in his computer room. I think these are great cards, but they run very hot.
