It has a WD Green drive in it, so that means it spins at 5400 rpm. The black version would be hundreds of dollars more.

The Costco one is nice because supposedly the internal drive spins at 7400 rpms; however, unless you know something I don't the Costco deal ended on 8/05 so no go now. Currently at $139.99 pre-tax.
