It seems as if they discount the rewards by the coupon amount. When the ream was $6.99 (1 cent after rewards promotion), I used the 25% teacher coupon. My rewards are showing up as $5.24.

The 2 that I purchased also weren't eligible, and after a close examination, apparently they were the "recycled" version of the laser reams. I returned them.

At some point you will hit a dead end. If you have no use of these items then don't do it - unless you want to deal with a hassle of flipping items for a few bucks. Waste of time IMO.
