Loved the first book, but you will need to read all three. The last was the worst and I am glad I am a speed reader. Still the story was good in it's ideology.

I enjoyed the first one. IMHO don't bother with the 2nd and 3rd. I struggled to finish them.

I definitely felt that way reading the last book. It felt very tailored to a movie-like sequencing of events.

i agree, i had expected some revelations and closure in the 3rd book but it became boring and monotonous. Any more might rally the screams of spoiler alerts so i am just keeping this short. :lmao:

Kindle Price is showing as $5.00 for me. They are free in the Prime lending library though. Don't see the $3.17 price anywhere... Second and third books look like $5.99 each too.

This is the only thing you need to read in this thread. It's why people keep comparing the series to Twilight, and I never understood the comparison, at all. Death, murder, genocide, corrupt...

To be clear this is just the first book, not the trilogy, right? BN had the trilogy for $3.99+tax almost a year ago.

+1. Never read the first, saw the movie. Read the 2nd. It was OK. By the time I was about a quarter a way through the 3rd, I was just trying to get through it. Hopefully they take artistic...

it seems that way, but when you consider that it's all told from the 1st person point-of-view and there's huge parts with no dialog (just the protagonist thinking to herself) it'll bet it was really...
