I ran it to check it out. I was able to get into set up and found an option to reset back to a point where everything was working. :) Then I uninstalled AVG. So far, so good! :bounce:

I've never used MBAM, so I don't know if it has a feature to immunize the hosts file. Removing malware for me is as simple as purging the cache and watching my firewall for unauthorised connections....
