I bought one recently for about the same price. I use it as a backup for my laptop. Always smart to have a backup! I don't have usb 3.0 on my laptop, but it's still pretty fast on my 2.0...

Yeah, I agree, I use my little 16GB for basic copying stuff around, but when I need to move some big stuff, or worse yet, have to back up my .iso files, it is a huge difference. There are USB 3.0...

Your logic is obsolete. If you only have 32 gigs of pictures, sure. Most of us use hard drives because we have 100+gigs of media to backup.

Yeah, this is really slow, esp for a USB 3.0 drive. I bought a Mushkin 32GB 3.0 with 120MB/s read and write speeds. Much more satisfying.

I jumped on this with the BuyDig deal. If you want 3.0 speed, you will be disappointed. Yes, it is faster than a 2.0, but I do not consider it to be a fast drive at all. I have attached my comparison...
