To be fair, OCZ and Sandforce seem to have fixed the major issues the Sandforce 2200 drives had through firmware updates. But that bad rep from early on just seems to stick with them. Many of the...

These drives just came out to the market but the performance is pretty impressive. Plus, it's Amazon, if I don't like it I can always return it. I'm in for the 256GB.

What kind of NAND does this use? This article seems to hint the SSD320 uses asynchronous flash.

I thought all sandforce SSD drives were in the capacities of 120/240/480 because of the 1/16 reduction. I see this SSD as a SLI/SF drive but at 256 GB. Can someone explain? Anways, I jumped in for...

Are you getting the Transcend 256GB TS256GSSD320 for ~$96? If so, how? At $96, it is attractive, but the $154.99 price on Amazon is only 18% off the list price of $189.99.

Sandforce uses 14% of its capacity for overprovisioning. That's why we see 120GB/240GB and not 128GB/256GB. LSI dropped the requirement, and now OEMs can add extra DRAM to keep the performance, or do...

Seems like a decent price, but those reviews seem kinda suspect. All three are from users with very short (and only within the past few days) review histories.
