alright, got this in the mail and quickly put it through some simple tests. didn't get into any big games yet though. this controller was always meant as a backup when I forgot to charge batteries...

horrible reviews on the PS3 one, but then again... its $10... I've had a mad catz controller before for gamecube and it worked just fine so not sure if anybody just tried using it wired instead of...
