Low res doesn't always mean it has a glossy screen, but in the $600 and under category you're not likely to find many matte screens. If it has a matte screen it's going to mention it, so just read...

Well don't know if Best Buy discontinued this or they are just OOS. It was the 2nd best priced Intel 3rd gen i5 laptop available from a B&M store....so ashamed if it's gone indefinitely. Late buyers...

$480 laptop ==> not high end. This price has become more or less the standard for budget 15.6'' laptops with decent specs and no graphics for gamers. High end screens are only ever found on laptops...

No because most are already running pretty high voltage to start with. The amount you can lower depends on specific chip you have. Most report that you can lower a good bit. Personal experience...

It has all the CPU specs you need for years to come, since it's got the latest Intel processor. It even has wifi N. Very good specs but as vinpra stated, hinges on the Asus laptop could be fragile...

Thanks Yell0w. Also, just want to be sure - this laptop has 2 slots currently occupying 2 GB sticks in each slot, correct?
Post #52607408 added 08-20-2012 2:49 PM by Yell0w in Archived Deals
I'm not really sure, I tried to use google to search it up but no results. It most likely is 2x2GB in the slots.

I found an ok deal on a 17.3" Toshiba satellite AMD A6 3420m laptop @ $430 at Office Depot. But for older tech it's probably worth $400 maximum. So an A6 laptop is much inferior to this great Intel...
