All dual cores are not alike, an ivy bridge is going to perform a lot better than the first gen bloomfield and slightly better than the sandy series. Like I say earlier, throw a good graphics card on...

parted out, this computer is not worth nearly $800, but when you don't build your own, you're stuck with paying the premiums.

Ram voltage doesn't matter for sandy. This has been proven over and over again. sandy will take 1.65v just fine forever.... :D

Would this computer (if it was still in stock) be good for editing HD video? Or would I need a better video card?

Not to mention waiting for weeks for a good deal to come by for all the parts that you need. Even if it's from the same retailer. It's almost impossible to buy everything from..say Newegg...in one...

I mean that's the exact point I was trying to make. It's not at all a good deal, this computer out of the box would make a terrible gaming computer, it's just a powerful processor with nothing else....

What chipset does this have? I have been looking for a cheap but powerful desktop in the $4-500 dollar range with an i5 but they all have the B75 express chipset. I dont know much but it seems like...

A free monitor is pretty sweet, but 23"? Thats almost as big as my TV. IMO 20" is the max anyone would ever need, since you sit so close to the screen.
